La Petite Robe Noir is one of Guerlains most loved perfumes, originally created as a limited edition scent, that later inspired another limited edition version La Petite Robe Niore 2. In 2012 Guerlain reintroduced a modified version of the original ,due to its chic and playful scent it has since become a cult classic. Based upon the classic and timeless little black dress the scent itself is one I have always been drawn too.
Naturally I was delighted at the prospect of the new La Petite Robe Niore spring make up range. The collection comprises of 20 luxurious lipsticks and 8 irresistible nail polish shades. Each with a hint of the classic La petite Robe Niore scent. Its no surprise both products are stunningly beautiful. Guerlain is a brand that screams opulence and luxury from their packaging to the formulas. Every product has an added pinch of sophistication and glamour.
From creamy nudes to pastel pinks, juicy reds and rich purples the colour range of the lipsticks are perfect for the warmer months. I have the shade no.70 Plum Brella which is a gorgeous pinky purple shade, which can easily be built to a brighter plum shade. The formula is super moisturising which I adore. So if you have drier lips but don’t want to compromise on the colour this is the lipstick for you, I know my lips are always thankful for added hydration.
Each of the lipsticks have a light texture that makes it perfect for building the coverage depending on the look you would like. So although the lipsticks are on the pricer side you are technically getting three different shades in one! The finish is a shiny almost glossy like, yet without any of the stickiness.
Guerlain creates an absolutely essential and utterly irresistible La Petite Robe Noire Lipstick in deliciously shiny texture to dress up your style with colour!
Vibrant shades in an innovative texture:
– a light-weight texture reveals the lips’ natural radiance, leaving them supple and comfortable
– an ultra-shiny finish and pure & luminous colours thanks to a cocktail of fine oils and a selection of “POP” pigments coated in a specific shine-boosting resin.
The bottle has adorned with the classic heart shaped lid based on the original perfume stopper. Its definitely one to pop onto the dressing table. The flat ended brush makes application a breeze and helps give your nails a flawless smooth finish.
I have the shade 002 Red heels which is the perfect classic Red with neutral undertones. A must have shade for any collection. Like the lipsticks the nail polishes also have a distinct scent, with delicate floral and fruity notes. You can have the delectable scent on your fingertips for up to 24 hours and can easily be topped up with a quick swipe of the top coat!
Guerlain creates fragranced colour and imagines an absolutely essential and utterly irresistible La Petite Robe Noire Nail Colour in deliciously shiny texture to dress up your style with colour!
A real La Petite Robe Noire miniature perfume bottle with its lid in the shape of the famous upside-down heart. Its flat brush allows optimal, easy and precise colour application.
– an ultra-shiny finish and revived shades thanks to a new technology of pigment grinding combined with a new generation of plasticizers
– an exemplary hold thanks to a specific resin that guarantees the film’s elasticity and suppleness
– a floral fruity fragrance that reveils itself after the application.
I love this range, the colours are just up my street and the formulas of both are of an extremely high quality. I’m not usually too fussed about scented products but the fragrance isn’t too strong that its overwhelming, its a light fresh scent that lingers with you through out the day. If you are near a Debenhams pop in and have a play and a good sniff. You wont be disappointed.
