I was lucky enough to be invited to stay at the Every Hotel in Piccadilly. Upon arriving I was shocked at how close to the action we really were with Leicester Square literally on the doorstep you couldn’t ask for a more central location. Perfect for exploring London’s West End. A hop skip and a jump away from the best theatres, nightlife and of course the shops.
Greeted by the friendly staff and swiftly checked in. all the paperwork was done in a blink of an eye. Leaving Dave and I to explore the Hotel. The interior is sleek and modern which matches perfectly with the feel of the hotel. Next to the lift in the lobby is a super swish fully interactive touch screen allowing you to search for the nearest attractions, travel time tables or whatever takes your fancy.
We were allocated a deluxe room on the 6th floor facing away from Leicester Square. Even though it was so near to the hustle and bustle I couldn’t hear any noise from the streets below. The room itself was a lot bigger than I expected considering the location. It was extremely spacious with the biggest bed I have ever seen, you could fit Goldilocks and the three bears in it, with room to spare! The room also had a desk with two chairs. The desk was quickly was turned into a dressing table. My room became the gathering point for both Dave and I as well as the gorgeous Haydy from Squibb Vicious and princess Ellie from Ellie’s Ramblings. At no point at all was it cramped or overcrowded even with the piles of clothes and make up lol.
No more than 15 minutes after arriving there was a knock on the door and I was given a gift box with my name on it, which included a flask, a pen, a hand warmer, plasters, a bottle opener, a map of London, headphones and some extra toiletries. I was really unexpected and a really lovely thought.
The room had a wardrobe with all the amenities you would expect in a 4* hotel such as an ironing board, iron and hair dryer. However it also had some really lovely extras including a fully stocked mini fridge all free of charge and a nespresso coffee machine.
The bathroom although compact was not at all claustrophobic. It was in keeping with modern and stylish look of the hotel. Yet most importantly it was extremely clean. The bathroom had plush bathrobes and a powerful walk in shower as well as all the little toiletries which make your stay so much easier.
We were invited for drinks with the management as well as the other bloggers in the restaurant /bar area, which like the rest of the hotel is chic and stylish. We were also lucky enough to have a dinner and taste some of the menu, which I can assure you is really tasty especially the pasta and pizza! All the staff were so friendly and gave us advice on where to head that night. It really was a fab night had by all, I’m sure you will have seen if you follow me on Instagram!
In the morning there was a lush spread of hot and cold food for breakfast. Again it was up to an extremely high standard. If you are planning on visiting make sure you taste the sausages as they were delicious!
One of the things that really stood out about Every hotel is the fact it is so interactive, in the restaurant you can use the Soundjack app on your phone to choose the music being played. In the high tech gym you can watch Youtube, listen to your favourite music or run through various destinations on the treadmill. Even the TV in my room was a smart TV which allows you to use apps. It really is the next generation of hotels, The focus is clearly on the guest and what the modern hotel user requires from their stay.
If you are travelling on business or need a place to stay for a trip in London, Every Hotels is without doubt the place I would recommend! Not only is the hotel in an amazing location with fantastic technology, it also is extremely affordable.with even the Deluxe rooms at around the £200 pound mark.
