Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in naked

What it is:
A luxury lipstick that delivers intense color payoff plus creamy shine.

What it does:
Revolution Lipstick is rich, buttery lipstick at its best—with the signature Urban Decay pigment-rich color you crave. Addictive to apply (and even more addictive to wear), Revolution Lipstick glides on without dragging or skipping and hugs every curve. Just one swipe gives you a big, gorgeous lay down of color. And with shades that range from gorgeous nudes to bold brights, there’s something for everyone.

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
– Parabens
– Sulfates
– Phthalates

What else you need to know:
Urban Decay’s Pigment Dispersion System™ gives Revolution Lipstick its super creamy texture, intense pigmentation, superior color dispersion, and extended wear. Maxi-Lip™ defines and hydrates lips while making them look plumper and fuller. And a nourishing blend of jojoba oil, avocado oil, cocoa butter and shea butter keeps lips super moisturized and cushiony soft. The luxe, custom-designed gunmetal tube (lined in Urban Decay’s signature dark purple) looks so gorgeous, you’ll want to keep pulling it out of your bag.

Suggested Usage:
-Use with 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencil, available in a range of shades specifically designed to coordinate with Revolution Lipstick.
-First, line your lips, or, better yet, fill them in completely. 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencil actually primes your lips for Revolution Lipstick by grabbing onto the color to help it last.

Urban Decay Lipsticks have had a lot of hype around them and I’m normally quite sceptical about hyped up products as I’m often left disappointed.

I certainly wasn’t in this case, This lipstick is without doubt my new go to lipstick. The packaging is gorgeous and is a purpley chrome with real weight behind it making it feel as expensive as it looks. I love the angle at which the lipstick is cut as it makes application a breeze.

The formula of the lipstick is beautiful its rich and creamy yet not at all cakey. Unlike many other long lasting lipsticks the formula isn’t at all drying and is actually one of the most moisturising lipsticks I have used. It is almost like a balm as it feels so light on your lips. It gives full opaque coverage with one stroke and doesn’t settle in creases. Which is fantastic as even the most highly rated lipsticks still do this is you have really dry lips.

This Shade is called Naked and even though its a light nude/pink it still has amazing pigmentation. It is a very natural shade almost like the colour you wish your natural lips would be. So is perfect for everyday wear or pairing with a dramatic eye. The shade is subtle yet classy and is my new favourite nude. It doesn’t drain you of colour like many nudes do, as its more pink based rather than beige. Its almost a warm pink with the ever so slight hint of beige. I think this shade will flatter most skin tones because of this. It wears beautifully and even without use of a lipliner stays put all day with only the slightest fading

Have you tried these lipsticks? What are your thoughts? Which shades are you lusting over?

Lots of Love,
Laura x
